Today is the last day of our writing retreat. My favorite time to write is early in the morning. Here’s the view that greeted me as I began my day. 
Yesterday we spread out all over the first floor of the lodge in monastic silence, writing.
When I was ready for a break, I headed down to the water.
I finished a book yesterday and started the next one today. It’s been an amazing four days.
