Author-izing, Part Deux

This past weekend I atttended my second writing retreat of the summer, and the setting was in beautiful Yarmouth, Maine. (This was my first one.) It was so much fun to hang out and write and talk and eat and pick blueberries with thirteen other children’s book writers. Here are a couple of pictures of the surroundings.

And on a side note: sometimes when I am working on a big project, I reward myself every time I finish 10,000 words by getting a pedicure. It would seem that I am not the only writer that does this.

Gorgeous setting, and even more gorgeous sets of painted toes! Sounds like heaven.
